I beg to draw you kind attention to the fact that Cyclone AILa has recently visited this area. Now normal activities have stopped. Thousand of people have become again homeless. The miseries of the affected people have known no bound. Fishery, cattle, poultries have been washed way. Thousand of people have taken their shelter on embankments. They are living under open air.
Moreover, after the cyclone breakdown, cholera, diarrhea, typhoid, dysentery etc. they may tarn in on epidemic from at any time, the affected people now badly need food, medicine, slain.
In the circumstances, I, therefore, pray and hope that you would be kind enough to send relief goods to the Cyclone affected people of this area immediately to lessen the suffering of the people in rainy days to coming.

Sponsorship Program in Sylhet
Sylhet is a major city in northeastern Bangladesh. It is the capital of Sylet division. Sylhet is a new metropolitan city. Sylhet is located on the banks of the Surma River and is surrounded by the Jaintia Kingdom, Khasia and Tripura hills. The city has a high-density population, with nearly 500,000 people. The city has an international airport. Sylhet, which has manufactures in tea, matches, vegetable oil, and canes, and its business boom—being one of the richest cities in Bangladesh, with new investments of hotels, shopping malls and luxury housing estates, brought mainly by expatriates living in the United Kingdom. It is also a center of Islamic culture and the site of several tombs of Muslim holy men Hazret Shah Jalal and his 360 disciple who brought Islam to Bengal during the 14th century, is located here.
There are large number of migrants spread over the Sylet City who come to look for employment. There has been a growing of slums in and around the city. The slum dwellers are mainly laborers but there are also scavengers and beggars. When the weather is not clear and rainy season their work stopped they become out of labor, their income sources are stop and some days they remain without food. To see slum children are dirty and wasted is common. Most of the people and their children to help their parents do begging or scavenging in the rubbish dumps as they took their Children in Childhood for labor and thus the Children remain illiterate. This problem passes from generation to generation.
As one of our main motives behind setting up the Child Sponsorship Program to bring education to the lacking, we contacted some of the slums to encourage them to educate their children. We have, over the years, made numerous attempts to bring some of the children from the slums into our program. We have provided the children with free education. Since then the slum school has run with an average of around 137 children. As the children are from families that are migrant.
Over the years, people in the area are now aware of the project and are supportive in sending their children to school. While through your help the project looks after all educational needs of the children including all books, pen, pencil, and consumables as cloth, oil, tooth pest, brush, soap, shoe, and feeding.
It was bring happiness to children and parents for your thoughtful precious gift with chair, table, cow and goat. Your sympathy has given them tremendous courage and strength. It is not only lessen their suffering, but also help to alleviate their poverty life. It’s maked great impact to the society also. Although separated by thousand of miles, your letter has brought children nearer to you. They can know about you and your family, it can be a massive influence to their life also.
This people are Muslim majority like Muslims in many parts of the world, they believe the tombs of ancient holy men to be place of great spiritual power, and their pre-Islamic belief in jinn, or spirits, still control much of their daily lives. Child sponsorship program help us to make way to reach effectively to un reach by caring their children’s needs.
Now, many people are coming and could see Jesus love in every aspect of our work and love Him. God is using us for proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ among the surrounding area through your Sponsorship Project; hundreds of lost sole are accepting Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord and preparing themselves for Kingdome of God.
